Leading US additive manufacturing research center, The Keck Center, joins AM Explorer early access program

Interspectral enters a new agreement with The W.M Keck Center for 3D innovation at The University of Texas in El Paso, US. The unique multi-disciplinary additive manufacturing research facility will now under a new development and license agreement get early access to Interspectral’s software AM Explorer.

The Keck Center at The University of Texas in El Paso, Texas is a multidisciplinary research facility focused on the use and development of Additive Manufacturing technologies with primary focus areas in AM Technology Development, Engineered and Structured Materials, and Advanced AM Applications.

There is a big need in the AM research community to better understand the process data collected. We look forward to work with the team at the Keck Center to further develop our solution and bring value to the entire AM market.

AM Explorer makes it possible to fuse, explore and analyze design files, simulation data, machine monitoring data and post-build metrology data from the metal additive manufacturing process in 3D. The software package is specifically designed for metal AM and will enable the researchers to better explore and understand the data generated in their work.
